Friends

I have enjoyed viewing the various posts over the last few months ... lots of fabulous modeling going on ... great skill all around!

My Tamiya Tiger 1/25 is finally done ... started the project back in Jan 2013

The final pictures appear below but you can view all the work at

Cottbus ... thanks for your complement

I cut a few corners here and there and missed a couple of small inclusions
This was my first 1/25 scale model ... everything prior is 1/35

I started a 1/25 Tamiya Panther A, 3 months back ... seems there is a lot to rework in that one too .. probably another year to finish

I've been following your work as well ... the last being the "Paris" Panther A .. lots of forum banter about that one ... I thought it was fabulous top to bottom .. great job interpreting the tank it was based on ... excellent detail, weathering and wear and tear .. master class piece for sure

Weathering, and wear and tear/battle damage is one aspect of Armor modeling I have not really delved into ... may have to give it a go soon ... my worry is not achieving a good result and spoiling a piece I put so much effort into ... we'll see

Thanks again!

tankindustry,.I totally agree with your last sentence, I watched your assembly, and described it as intense . your work is beyond my scope. the panther a, I was fortunate with, mid 44 going through a city, so mud and grime was minimal no detail lost.in some cases less is more. check jagdpanther 823 on the net ,I'm in the painting process now. I don't think I complemented you enough on your model. It's Outstanding !

Hi CB

Don't sell yourself short ... I've seen your projects on Photobucket (T 34's Tiger I's, JagdPanther).... master class all .. your damage and weathering effects are bang on ... very real looking ... less is often more ... so true!

JdPthr 823: ... classic candy stripe cammo pattern and having green as the dominant color .. I'm certain it will be another show piece

My Panther A will be based on Panther 534 (SS Pz Rgt 5, Wiking) and will feature near complete schurzen and milliput zimmerit

After all the careful work I did on Tiger S04, it's nice to get positive feedback ... so once again much thanks

Now I can officially congratulate you a great model.
Corrected background shows us a great model details :okok: (I prefer blue background).
Tiger Wittman this is what I like the most, because I plan to build two vehicles - the eastern front early tiger and Normandy late model 007.

Once again, congratulations and well deserved prize - a photo of the week.
Good job :honoring:
